You used to love the way your kitchen looked, but now it feels dated. The appliances do not work like they used to and the cabinets are practically falling apart. BLC Construction & Home Repair rebuilds kitchens across Fairview, Dickson, Waverly, Charlotte and Bon Aqua, TN into rooms that work the way your household actually cooks, eats and gathers.

With 25+ years of kitchen renovations behind us, we can customize every part of the room and keep the project moving so you are not living without a kitchen any longer than necessary.

Planning a kitchen that works

Most dated kitchens fail on workflow before they fail on looks — not enough counter beside the range, a refrigerator door that blocks the walkway, no landing space for groceries. We map your work triangle first, then choose finishes. That is the difference between a kitchen that photographs well and one that feels effortless every night at six o'clock.

We will also flag the practical items homeowners forget: outlet placement for small appliances, a dedicated circuit for the microwave, ventilation that is actually rated for your range, and whether that wall you want gone is load bearing.

Budget ranges in Dickson County

A refresh — paint, hardware, backsplash, lighting and counters — is the least expensive way to make a kitchen feel new. A full replacement of cabinets, counters, flooring and appliances sits in the middle. Moving plumbing, removing walls or expanding the footprint costs the most because of framing, electrical and mechanical work.

We price each of those paths separately during the estimate so you can see the tradeoff instead of guessing.

Kitchen Remodeling FAQs

Can I use my kitchen during the remodel?

Usually in part. We sequence demolition and installation to keep a working sink and refrigerator available as long as possible, and we tell you up front which days will be without them.

Do you handle plumbing and electrical?

Yes — through our team and licensed trade partners, permitted where the work requires it.

Can you match existing cabinets?

Often yes, for additions or repairs. We will be honest when a match is not realistic instead of installing something that looks off.
